Product Applications
Installation and Operation Instructions for Piezo Actuator
· Do not split the piezo actuator without authorization;
· Discharge the piezo actuator before installation, which can be achieved by connecting it to the controller;
· Do not remove the controller during operation;
· Before use, check whether the connection line of the product is in good condition and whether the product and controller are effectively grounded. Strictly abide by the operation instruction during the operation. After power on, do not touch the product with your hands (voltage up to 1000V) to avoid danger.
· Piezo actuators should be used in dust-free, oil-free and lubricant-free environments as far as possible;
· It is recommended that the load should not exceed the carrying capacity of the product, and the torque should not be too large when loading. Do not pry or twist the load surface, so as not to damage the structure;
· Immediately close the relevant part when exception occurs;
· The recommended voltage for long-term use of low-voltage actuators is 0~120V;
· The recommended voltage for long-term use of HPSt500 high voltage actuator is 0~400V;
· The recommended voltage for long-term use of the PSt1000 and HPSt1000 high-voltage actuators is 0 ~ 800V;
· Do not disassemble the product to avoid damage ;
· To avoid cable damage, do not stretch or bend the cable connector;
· Use the special cable provided by CoreMorrow to connect the piezo actuator and the controller
· Do not use cable extension cable, if you need longer cable, please contact our sales person.
Installation Diagram
· Do not fall piezo ceramics, to avoid any form of mechanical impact
· Piezo actuators with preload can withstand certain tension (not caused by piezo actuator contraction), but cannot withstand shear force, torque and bending moment. These conditions may cause damage to the piezo ceramics inside the actuator. Shear, torque, and bending moments can be removed by means of a ball head or an appropriate guide mechanism.
Avoid shear force and torque
Avoid bending moment
Ball head or flexure hinge can avoid shear force, torque and bending moment
