FSM is very sophisticated instruments that can be used for uniaxial to multi-axis angular deflection adjustments with resolutions up to nano-radians.

The performance of the FSM is very good, and in order to achieve its excellent performance, in the installation process, we must pay attention to some basic problems, to avoid inhibiting the performance of the FSM.
Below, take the P33 series FSM produced by CoreMorrow as an example to introduce some problems to be paid attention to during the installation process.
Before installation, first check the safety, such as the condition of the connecting line, to ensure the integrity of the connecting line, so as to avoid the risk of electric leakage; in addition, check the appearance to ensure that the appearance is intact and there is no obvious impact.
Load installation method
The load of FSM is generally a lens or other light reflecting component, and the lens can be mounted, bonded or selected by the lens adapter in two ways.
1) Bonding
Before attaching the lens, clean the adhesive surface of the lens, bond it with epoxy resin, apply the adhesive evenly, and do not overflow the lens bonding surface. Wait for a while after the lens is pasted.
Remember, do not drop the lens adhesive in the flexible hinge gap, and do not obstruct other movements, so as not to affect the accuracy or damage the equipment.
2) Mechanical installation
The lens adapter can also be used for the adapter installation of the lens. The adapter can be customized according to the type of the lens. The adapter is fixed by the screw to the moving end of theFSM, as shown in the figure.
Load installation location
1) When installing the lens load, make sure that the lens quality is within the load-bearing range of the FSM and install the lens as far as possible at the center of the moving surface. As shown below.
2) In order to protect the FSM from damage, we recommend that the load should not be too high. If you must use a higher load, please lower the position of the center of gravity of the load. The wrong placement method is shown in the figure below.
3) It is forbidden to install the load on the side of the sports table, which will cause serious damage to the product, as shown in the figure below.
Also, avoid pulling cables and bending cables to avoid damage to the cables.
